“Sprung in die Zeit” is an intermedia art project by Elias Wessel and Natalia Kiës, featuring 42 abstract photos paired with sonic compositions. This innovative work, debuting on January 1, 2023, blends art, music, and technology.
Tobias Hartmann and I developed the Web-Experience of this exhibition in close collaboration with Elias and Natalia.
With this work, we tried to capture the physical experience of moving between the pictures and coming in contact with their music (composed by Natalia Kiës).
In order to mirror the visitors’ experience of the artworks in a gallery, we utilized head-tracking via webcam. This way, the visitors can interact with the pictures and the surrounding space without touching their mouse or touchscreen.
